Mechanicsburg School District’s annual home USBands marching band show brought together 11 participating schools on Oct. 3. The event closed with all of the bands joining together on the field for a mass performance of “God Bless America,” the moment Chris Rutt highlighted during S4EP40’s Gush & Go.
Chris recounts Mechanicsburg's West Shore Classic finale, when bands combined to perform God Bless America.
He describes the combined winds, percussion, front ensembles, and color guard filling the field and celebrates the opportunity for competing schools to perform together.
